A police team led by station house officer of Palam Vihar police station Sudeep Kumar rushed to the spot and the locals handed over the device to the police.

Later, IAF personnel informed the police that the drone was used as part of a routine area surveillance drill and it flew over the wall because of a glitch.

“The three-foot-long device was later handed over to the IAF authorities. No complaint has been registered in the case,” Sudeep Kumar, said.
