Team Anna will hold an anti-corruption rally in the city’s Gaushala ground on July 15. However, activist Anna Hazare himself would keep away from the event.

The rally will be attended by other core members like Arvind Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi, Prashant Bhushan and Kumar Vishwas.

India Against Corruption (IAC) members said permission to hold the rally at Gaushala ground, situated near the inter-state bus terminus in Old Gurgaon, was obtained after much effort.

On Sunday, a meeting of IAC members and city-based activists was held at Nehru Park in Sadar Bazaar to chalk out the modalities for the rally. Some city-based NGOs, labour groups and residents took part in the deliberations. “We will reach out to people by going to door-to-door. We will visit the villages in Gurgaon and adjoining districts and convince people to participate in the fight against corruption,” said an IAC member.
