After missing an appointment with RWA members of sectors 4 and 15 earlier this week, the administrator of the Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda), Praveen Kumar, held a meeting to hear their grievances on Friday.

Residents apprised Kumar about civic woes such as poor sanitation, maintenance issues and unauthorised parking areas.

Despite prominent citizens such as MLA Rao Dharampal, health minister Rao Narender Singh, IAS officer Shiv Raman Kumar, retired inspector general Resham Singh residing here, these sectors have been a hub of administrative and civic malfunctions. "A stormwater disposal system at Sector 15, at a cost of R30 lakh, will be operational within a week. We will keep a check on parks in Sector 4. At Sector 15, a fountain at the rose garden parkland will be reconstructed and facilities for public convenience would be made," the Huda chief said.

"Kumar told us to consult an architect and reconstruct the community centre in Sector 4. There will be underground parking and the new building will have indoor sports facilities. The plan will be forwarded to Kumar soon," said Dharam Sagar, head of federations of residents welfare association (Forwa ).
