To emphasise on information technology (IT) and related areas, various IT and IT-enabled multi-national companies will hold a seminar in the city on Friday.
To be organised by the Haryana Information Technology and Telecom-Enabled Industries Confederation (HITEC), the discussions will be chaired by MP of Gurgaon, Rao Inderjit Singh, who is also chairman of the Parliamentary Committee of IT. Industry experts and regulators will also take part in the event.
"The focus of the seminar is to enhance awareness among members of the industry to adapt to the emerging technologies, cost-cutting methods, create global niche in product and services delivery and enhance the revenue and employment opportunities," said Pradeep Yadav, a key organiser and chief technology officer, ZTE Telecom.
HITEC has been emphasising on increasing focus on cloud computing, surveillance solutions, collaborative applications, convergence of device, applications and next generation networks like 4G etc.
