A 17-year-old girl was allegedly raped after being kidnapped by two acquaintances in Dwarka, Gurgaon police said on Tuesday.
The victim, a BBA first year student at a college in Noida, is a resident of a Farukhnagar village, 30 kilometres from Gurgaon.
She told cops at Farukhnagar police station that she had come in touch with two youths, Sanjay Kumar from Bhiwani in Haryana and Rajesh Kumar from Najafgarh in Delhi some time ago.
On Sunday, the girl, who stays with her uncle in Noida, visited her family in the Farukhnagar village when the two youths, accused in the case, asked her to meet on Sunday, she said.
According to the complaint, they later took her to a room in Dwarka’s sector 9 in south Delhi where they demanded Rs 2 Lakh from her as they said they were in possession of recordings of her phone conversation with them. Then, they raped her and also threatened to kill her if she made it public, she told police.
“After raping me they dumped me in my village late night on Sunday,” the victim said in the complaint.
Based on her complaint, a zero FIR (not in the police station’s jurisdiction) was lodged against the two accused. They were charged with rape, criminal intimidation, abduction, among other sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC), at Farukhnagar police station.
“We have booked the two in the zero FIR. The case will be transferred to Sector 9 police station of Dwarka, Delhi for investigation since the incident happened in their jurisdiction,” said Vinod Kumar, station house officer, Farukhnagar police station.
