To avail the benefits of this facility, citizens would be required to mention their mobile number on the application form submitted in the offices for this purpose.

The department has also prepared its website — — which offers informational and functional services to citizens. Residents can browse the website to know about procedures for registration of motor vehicles, issue of driving licenses and grant of permit.
