Three persons, including the director of a primary school, were arrested for their involvement in several cases of motor-bike robberies, the police said on Wednesday.

The police recovered four bikes, one country-made pistol and a live cartridge from the accused, who had been wanted for the past two years.

On Tuesday, officers of the Civil Lines police station got a tip-off that three suspicious men were loitering near the Sector 14 park in Old Gurgaon. During interrogation, they revealed that they were planning to rob a motor bike from the locality.

The accused have been identified as Arshad Ayub, 25, who runs a primary school in Mewat, Arif, 23, and Iqbal, 22.
