Society cricket league evokes good response

With T20 fever thick in the air, the Gurgaon Society Cricket League too has picked up momentum as scores of societies are coming forward to host the tournament on their premises.

The cricket league, which is organised in partnership with Hindustan Times, has covered seven residential societies with a total of 282 residents across these societies participating in the tournament.

The event, which is based on the net cage cricket model, has recorded 36 as the highest individual run score by Chetan from Blossoms II in Sector 57.

The cricket craze has city denizens hooked! Fuelled by their passion for the sport, even elderly people are actively participating in the event.

The cricket league has drawn an overwhelming response in the city.

Gurgaon Society Cricket League is brought to societies by JustMyNeighbour.com in association with Grace Toyota being the Lead Sponsor and co-sponsored by Lifestyle, Club Mahindra, Youreka and Rasna.

Residents can register for free by logging on to www.jmnscl.com. At the end of the league, the winning society will be awarded R25,000 cash prize and the man of the series will be honored with R15,000 cash prize.
