Training for poll counting held

Pradeep Ahlawat, assistant returning officer, Pataudi constituency, said that for the four assembly segments in Gurugram district, the election office has set up 14 counting tables. Each of them would be taken care of by a counting supervisor and an assistant.

The training of officials, who have been deputed for the counting of votes on May 23, was carried out on Friday. As part of the training, supervisors, assistants and micro-observers were given directions and informed about the various aspects of counting . They were also instructed that on counting day, they should reach the Government Girls College at 6am.

Mohd Imran Raza, additional deputy commissioner, Gurugram, said that the officials deputed for counting would be assigned duties on May 23.
