Two booked for snatching gold chain from woman

A woman’s gold chain was allegedly snatched by two men, whom she had approached for help to unlock the door of her house in Palam Vihar on Thursday, said the police. The incident took place around 3.30pm, when two men waiting outside her house offered help.

A police officer, requesting anonymity, said,“One of the suspects abruptly snatched the woman’s gold chain and ran away. She tried chasing them, but they managed to escape.”A case was filed against the suspects at Palam Vihar police station on Thursday.
