6 hot tips to keep body odour away in summer

Ever had that moment where you wonder if you smell, well, not so great? It happens. But you can make body odor go away. Try these five tips to fight odour.

Six simple ways to stay fresh in summer:

1Vinegar magic

Vinegar is a natural antiseptic and kills the bacteria which cause offensive smell. Sprinkle white or apple vinegar on odorous areas and wipe the area dry. Vinegar added to bathwater can also eliminate foul smells.


Apply a mixture of gram flour and curd on the whole body before you go for a bath. It opens the clogged pores which paves way for toxins to come out of the body through sweating and hence controls body odour.

3Aroma up
Switch to aromatherapy to curb body odour woes. Add 2-3 drops of sandal oil, or rosewater to the bath tub. It helps in the removal of bad odour and induces a good fragrance onto the body.

4Get some fruity fun
To fresh coconut milk, add grapefruit extract and apply it to your armpits, joints, neck etc. Rinse off with cold water to experience long- lasting freshness.

5Minty fresh
Boil mint leaves and add water to your bath water. Keep some aside for a special dousing for your armpits.

6The natural trick
Make a powder of dried bael leaves, mix it with soap nut and use it as a replacement of soap. It relieves bad body odour effectively.
