It's always great to give a special kick to those lazy bones and hit the gym in order to get that perfect figure or to stay fit and healthy. We give you some tips on how to motivate yourself for spending some time in the gym:
1 Find a partner: First of all, you don’t have to do it alone. Drag someone along with you. You’ll feel more comfortable to have someone familiar with you.
2 Consult a professional: Make an appointment with the fitness advisor in the gym. He’ll guide you, make a program for you, keeping in mind your fitness level and your goals, take your body measurements and a few simple tests to analyse your physical abilities.
3 Workout gear: Dress so you are comfortable and able to move easily. Wear tracks, T-shirts, good supporters, shoes that fit well and socks. Also, carry a hand towel and a water bottle.
4 Do a good warm-up: Always do a good warm up before starting your workouts. This will help you workout better.
5 Start slowly: If you push yourself too hard at first, you may be forced to abandon your program because of pain or injury. It’s better to start slowly and progress gradually.
