1. Balanced meal:
When packing your lunch, include all food groups like cereals, pulses, milk products, vegetables and fruits.
2. Antioxidant wise:
Include a rich content of fibre and antioxidants such as salads and fruits in your diet. Pack your meals in airtight containers, which will retain the freshness for long.
3. Skip bingeing:
Avoid taking juices, shakes or even water in between the meals as it may cause indigestion due to dilution of digestive juices and enzymes.
4. Eat on time:
Don’t skip your meals; by doing so, you may end up eating unhealthy junk food. Try to have your lunch between 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
5. Avoid greasy stuff:
Avoid heavy, fried or left over meal. A heavy and oily lunch may lead to discomfort or acidity, leading to indigestion.
