For a balanced mind, you need a balanced body. Start the day earlier than usual. Eat light meals throughout. Keep your stomach cool — drink lots of chhacch (buttermilk) and water frequently to keep yourself hydrated. It is important to avoid caffeinated beverages as they aren’t very healthy.

Dressing appropriately for the summer season can also help. Wear light coloured clothes made of natural fabrics. And if you can, avoid activities in direct sunlight till the end of June.As far as losing one’s temper, it’s easy to get irritated and hassled when the weather is so taxing. So take extra care these days by thinking before reacting.

Keep a clear head and do not let your exasperation with the heat be misdirected and come out as an outburst at work. Stick to the facts by objectivising all work matters. Finally, in this cutting- edge, performance-oriented world, it is essential for a working person to be a professional and enjoy both his/her work and the weather.
