Do you lose your temper too soon? Here are a few tips which will help you manage your anger to a great extent. Read on to find out more.
1 Drink water: If you lose temper quite often, then you must drink water as a regular practice.
2 Forgive others: We tend to forgive ourselves for our mistakes, but we hold on to someone else’s wrong. Try and forgive others.It brings peace onto yourself.
3 Divert attention: Keep your family portrait at your work desk. Whenever you tend to lose your temper, look at your family photograph to soothe down your nerves. Even thinking of some happy moment helps in controlling anger.
Also use the age-old technique of counting till 10 if you are about to lose your temper. Also, keep a soft smiley ball handy and press it between your fingers whenever you get angry.
4 Quick Meditation: If you are about to lose your temper, close your eyes and tell yourself that you will override your temperament, no matter what. Repeat the words ‘I will not lose my temper’. Also, when you are about to lose your temper, see if you are being judgmental.
