When performing weight exercises, it is important to maintain your breathing pattern. This differentiates between a right and wrong movement. You should exhale towards the pressure and inhale against it.

When performing weight exercises, it is important to maintain your breathing pattern. This differentiates between a right and wrong movement. You should exhale towards the pressure and inhale against it.



2 Posture:

Body posture is the key to do a movement in perfect form and avoid injury. The posture also ensures getting the correct result on the muscle in use.



3 Concentration:

When working on a particular muscle, make sure that you focus all your energy on that one part. Proper concentration is a must to get the utmost effect on muscle. This will also ensure the exhaustion at the right muscle portion.



Exercise 4 Repetitions:

If you desire toned muscles and loss of fat, you should do more than 18 repetitions for three to four sets. But if you want to gain weight, your repetitions should be around 8-12 sets. The number of sets depends on your strength and the intensity of your workout.



5 Rest:

The most common mistake one does is to take long resting gaps. Such a practice lowers down your pulse rate and destroys the starting repetitions of your next set.
