Victoria Beckham, who astonished everyone with her incredible post-baby figure at New York Fashion Week just eight weeks after giving birth to her daughter Harper Seven, has credited running for her amazing transformation.
The 37-year-old wife of footballer David Beckham, revealed that after giving birth to Harper in July last year she began a fitness regime, which involved running six times a week.
“I worked out a lot. I ran a lot. I did it six days a week. I become quite obsessive when I get into something,” the Daily Mail quoted her as telling US Vogue magazine.
Apart from running the mother-of-four stuck to a strenuous exercise regime under the guidance of celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson, whose clients include Gwyneth Paltrow, Cheryl Cole and Madonna.
Victoria also revealed how she elongates her frame with her designs, which consist of figure-hugging material and flattering cuts.
“I’ve never been a six-foot-tall, skinny model (she is five feet four), so there-fore I wanted to create an illusion. People think I’m taller than I am – not because of the shoes I wear but because of the way I dress. It’s all relatively streamlined,” she added.
