India has been known for its spices for centuries, even making most Europeans invade the nation for it. But here's a list of some of best spices and their herbal and medicinal qualities. Make sure you have them handy.
A staple in all sorts of desserts and similar dishes, this spice is a natural warmer that helps fight cold and is also good for your stomach. Soak it in water and have it along with lemon and honey for weight loss.
It’s high in mineral, calcium, and iron. A small quantity dissolved in water helps fight diseases such as asthma and stomach ailments. It is also used to aid digestion and is smeared on the abdomen in an alcohol or water tincture known as mahahing.
It's very rich in iron, calcium, potassium and even vitamin A and B. Roast and have it with gur. Boil cumin seed in water and drink it like tea to get rid of acute stomach problems.
