To remove pigmentation from your lips, apply a mixture of lemon and honey. Leave on for a few minutes, and wash off. Massaging the lips with petroleum jelly is helpful. You can try a lip pack made of a ripe banana, a teaspoon of sour cream and a few drops of honey.
Wear the right colours
Wear lip colour that matches your skin tone and the season. Bright red might not look good on a dark skin tone but a similar statement can be made with a bold maroon lip tint. Try using colours like bright pink, peach, coral and orange.
Heal chapped lips
Do not pull out loose skin, as this will delay the healing process. Use a lip balm regularly. Drink a lot of water, as it helps heal chapped lips. Also avoid using lip colour till your lips are healed.
