'Lovemaking is a great exercise'

Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda reveals his diet plan, fitness regime and his opinion on six-pack abs and size zero.

Randeep Hooda talks about fitness

My body measurements:
Chest: 44, Biceps: 16, Height: Six feet, Weight: 77 kilos.

Fitness for me: Is being able to do the things you enjoy without running out of breath.

My fitness regime: My workouts never last beyond 25 minutes. I am a Jat. I don’t think it’s necessary to workout for two hours if we can put in intense workout for 25 minutes. In 25 minutes I may do 25 or even 35 sets. I only stop to drink water. I don’t chit chat in the gym. That’s what most of the people go there for, to chit chat and check out other people. I live on the 13th floor and climb up the stairs. I ride a horse for two-three hours a day. I play various games. Lovemaking is a great exercise. One should do it regularly and as often as possible.

My diet: I have got a big sweet tooth but I eat anything and everything. I love dairy products and chocolates. I don’t live to eat but I do eat to live well. As a struggler, I have starved a lot so I really appreciate food. I eat about 12 to 15 eggs a day. I love eggs.

The body partI love training: Is unmentionable. But I like training my chest and back. I hate training my calves and abs.

My best body feature: The nape of my neck, I have been told.

My worst body feature: I don’t have a bad feature at all.

I started working out: When I was in the tenth standard. My body responds very quickly. I can gain and lose weight very quickly. I like gyms which don’t have an air conditioner because you really sweat it out then. I am ‘old school’ in that way. I also love working out bare feet.

My workout partner: Nobody. I am really focused in the gym. Sometimes I don’t even see people who say ‘hi’ to me.

My opinion on six packs and size zero: Right now I have four packs but I am sure I can go to gym and get a six pack. Six packs is not hard to get. But size zero is absolutely atrocious.

If I had to rate my body: I would rate it an eight on ten because the potential of my body is 12.
Onscreen, I have looked my fittest in: Karma Konfessions and Holi, and Risk.

A piece of advice for aspiring fitness freaks: You should only workout as much as you can sustain.
