1. Eating habits: Make sure that you always eat warm cooked foods. A piping hot soup can work wonders to retain the health of your skin in chilling winters.
2 Water intake: The importance of drinking 8-12 glasses of water a day applies to all seasons as there is no substitute to this elixir of life! In winters your thirst is far less than in summers, yet you must remember to drink water to keep your skin hydrated and glowing. As a water supplement, you can switch to warm water, green tea or herb/spice tea.
3 Nutrient consumption: Include fruits, veggies and nuts in your diet. These antioxidant-rich food items not only maintain and enhance the youthful glow of your skin but also keep your hair strong and healthy
4 Food to be avoided: Abstain from excessive tea, coffee, alcohol and foods with high salt content. These food items can lead to skin dehydration and dryness.
