1 Cleanse your skin: Cleansing is the first step to get a supple, problem-free skin. Prepare a cleanser at home by mixing half a cup of milk with half teaspoon of any vegetable oil, like sesame seed oil, or olive oil. Put the mixture in a bottle and shake well. Wipe your skin with this, using cotton wool and keep the remainder in the refrigerator for the next two or three days.

Skin2 Tone well: After cleansing, tone your skin with a rose-based skin tonic or rose water. Make cotton wool pads and soak them in rose water. First wipe the face and then pat the face with the cotton wool pad. This improves blood circulation to the skin surface.

3 Keep eruptions at bay: Tulsi is very useful for eruptive conditions. It helps to soothe rashes and eruptions. Apply a paste of tulsi leaves on the skin and wash off after 15 minutes. You can also use sandalwood paste for eruptive conditions. Mix sandalwood with a little rose water and apply on the skin. Wash off with plain water after 30 minutes. For itchy skin, add one tablespoon vinegar to a mug of water and pour it on the affected area. It helps in getting relief.

4 Nourish your skin: Fruit masks are a good option to nourish all skin types. Mix together ripe papaya pulp, grated cucumber, grated apple, mashed banana and apply on the face. Wash it off after half an hour. Curd and oats can also be added to this.
