Inventive forms of yoga are just a phone call away for city fitness enthusiasts. Now, you can tailor your workout schedule according to your own hours. Warden Road’s fitness centre, MokshZip allows those stretched for time, to call upon a yoga instructor as per their convenience.
As another year passes by, is sticking to a regimen still a tough resolution to keep? Now, you can tailor your workout schedule according to your own hours. Warden Road’s fitness centre, MokshZip allows those stretched for time, to call upon a yoga instructor as per their convenience.
So how different is this from your friendly yoga teacher at home, you may wonder. Not much actually. But Rina Nandy, director, PNC wellness that runs Moksh insists, "A private instructor is different. A gym means people signing up to visit it. With Moksh, we take the gym home. So our certified instructors will visit you at the time you choose."
What’s more is that the trainers chart out a bespoke regimen for the client, depending on their areas of concern such as weight loss, asthma among others.
Although, for now, the new service has just four instructors on board, what’s making sure that Rina gets yoga addicts calling for more is their alternative yoga sessions like passion yoga and cool yoga. "They are our trademark workouts. Passion yoga is a high-energy regimen based on tenets of tantra yoga created by yoga guru Shiv Kumar. Cool yoga is a fun concept comprising yogic exercises for couples. There are positions that allow couples to do the surya namaskar together too," she adds.
The service is available across the city, but costs a whopping Rs 10,000 per month. We wonder if yoga fans will host this service or let it pass as they practise the shav-asana.
