Having a famous husband means Sussanne Roshan has to always be ready for the spotlight. The paparazzi aren’t going to forgive the interior decorator wife of Hrithik Roshan if she’s anything less than impeccable.

Which is why the slender mother of two makes sure to work out at least four times a week — her mantra to maintain her porcelain glow and lithe frame. “Exercise is the best way to keep you looking young and fresh. It raises your heart rate and boosts your blood circulation,” says Sussanne, adding, “If you don’t work out, it really doesn’t matter what creams and make-up you use.”

Sussanne is also particular about her food habits. She reveals that she eats at regular intervals during the day to keep her metabolism in high gear. “Beauty comes from having a good metabolism because it enhances you from the inside. It reflects on the skin and face,” she says. * I include lots of nutrients like Omega 3 fish oils in my diet, which work wonders for my skin, hair and nails. I also pack in the greens and drink lots of water, rather than choosing foods that make me feel lethargic. * I I love my lip-gloss and eyeliner, though apart from that, I avoid wearing too much make-up. * I love body cream and never step out of the house without it.
