Winters are around the corner and it is the perfect time to catch the common cold. Here are some of the tips to keep away from the virus.

Be a germaphobe:

You must always be aware of what you’re touching and track how often you’ve washed your hands. The common cold is a virus and can easily spread from person to person, if you don’t take care to wash your hands. Avoid touching your face without disinfecting your hands.

Fresh air

: One should always move out and breathe fresh air as it is necessary to free oneself from enclosed spaces every few hours.

Stay warm:

Some people start showing cold symptoms if they are in a cold place for too long. Wear proper warm clothes, including a winter coat and thermals, to keep yourself warm.

Sleep well

: Sleep is very important. At least seven hours of sleep is needed by your body to fight off infection. Those who don’t get enough sleep are three times more likely to develop an infection.

Eat right

: Be sure you eat right, as your body needs enough nutrients to fight the viruses that enter your body and infect you. Eat nutritious food and multivitamin tablets to keep fit. Eat nuts and lots of other dry fruits to keep yourself warm and healthy from inside.
