MK Kaushik, the former chief coach of women’s hockey team, turned down a lucrative coaching offer from Delhi Waveriders, one of five Hockey India League (HIL) franchisees, recently.

He had to turn down the offer because of the Haryana government's pending inquiry into the allegations of sexual harassment against him in 2010.

"Delhi Waveriders offered me the post of chief coach but as an enquiry is pending against me, I had no option but to decline the offer,” said Kaushik.
