Johnny Depp’s wife Amber Heard has confirmed that she is playing role of Mera, the lead opposite Jason Momoa in Aquaman and Justice League.
The 29-year-old actor was rumoured to be taking on the role of the deep-sea Queen of Atlantis and wife of Jason Momoa’s Aquaman right during the beginning of year, reported ET online.
Heard, who will make her superhero debut with the film, also gave out interesting details of her look.
“It’s interesting. It’s like, half suit of armor, half scales. It’s strange... We’re in the process of building it now, so it’s coming along,” she said.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder is set to helm the two-part Justice League films, due in 2017 and 2019.
