After scoring the music for Slumdog Millionaire (2008) and 127 Hours (2010), music maestro AR Rahman will once again compose the background score for a

Hollywood film.

For the movie Million Dollar Arm, Rahman has composed a host of original scores, along with lending his chartbusters from the past such as Ring ring ringa and Kawa kawa.

A source close to the production reveals, “Rahman has composed around seven songs for the film. They will be a mix of English, Hindi and Tamil numbers, in order to attract audiences from all over.” The movie, which stars Mad Men actor Jon Hamm, will release in India a week before it comes to theatres in the US.

“Have been busy finishing the soundtrack album of Million Dollar Arm. It features collaborations with Iggy, Kendrick Lamar (in the movie only), KT Tunstall, Sukhwinder Singh, Raghav Mathur,” Rahman posted on his Facebook page.
