If the new teaser of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is not a dream sequence, we need to be afraid, very, very afraid. In the short sneak peek clip, released on November 30, Superman (played by Henry Cavill) lands in an underground bunker and has soldiers kneeling to him.
He then goes on to remove Batman’s (Ben Affleck) mask who is held captive with a few other people. The entire clip is dialogue-free and it is the expressions of the two superheroes do the talking. If Batman looks afraid, Superman can best be described as grumpy and worst as evil. Now you understand why we want this to be dream sequence!
This 49-second teaser is a preview of a trailer set to be released during Wednesday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! Other cast members include Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent and Holly Hunter as U.S. Senator Finch.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is directed by Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen) and is set to hit theatres on March 25, 2016.
