Batman v Superman done, Ben Affleck’s Live by Night gets prime release

Batman v Superman studio Warner Bros. has revealed the release date of actor-filmmaker Ben Affleck’s gangster drama Live by Night. The film will come out on October 20, 2017, a prime Awards friendly date.

The film is an adaptation of Dennis Lehane’s Prohibition-era crime novel of the same name, reports

Apart from directing, Affleck also stars in the film as the prodigal son of a Boston police captain (Brendan Gleeson) who grows to be a criminal gangster. Affleck has been tweeting images from behind-the-scenes of the movie.

The film also features Sienna Miller, Zoe Saldana, Chris Messina and Scott Eastwood, among others.
