Hollywood actor Ben Affleck is reportedly being eyed to direct superhero ensemble film Justice League based on the DC comics.
The 39-year-old is expected to start discussion with Warners Bros soon, reported Ace Showbiz.
Affleck himself made it clear that he would only direct films, which would include him in the star-cast.
It is likely that he will also get his own suit in Justice League. However, his representative hasn’t clarified on the speculation.
Affleck has also been courted by WB to direct sci-fi drama Replay, based on Ken Grimwood’s 1987 book and to adapt Stephen King’s novel The Stand. Its unclear whether Warners will wait for him to finish the film.
The long-awaited DC superhero film won’t hit theatres until summer 2015, which could put it up against Marvel’s The Avengers 2.
