Sacha Baron Cohen's The Dictator trailer has just released and it's already trending on Twitter. Interestingly, the trailer of the spoof film plays to the very popular Bollywood song Mundiya Tu Bach Ke Rahi from the film Boom.

While Cohen is expectedly priceless in the character of General Shabazz Aladeen, a hybrid of General Muammar Gaddafi and Saddam Hussein, the film itself looks rather promising.

The video begins with renowned leaders like USA President Barrack Obama, USA Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and UK Prime Minister David Cameron calling for action against the 'tyrant', 'who must step aside'. What follows is an inspiring speech by General Aladeen, the dictator of the Republic of Wadiyan, which calls for free press, fair elections and equal rights for wome...err...that's when the action begins.

While Mundiya Tu Bach Ke Rahi plays in the background, we get a glimpse what the dictator is capable of. In a race where he himself calls the shots, literally, Aladeen randomly shoots at fellow competitors to ensure he wins the race.

The dictator is then invited to New York by the United Nations, if you please, to address them. What happens as Wadiyan's dictator is unleashed on America. Watch the trailer to find out.

Also seen in the film are Anna Faris in a brunette page-boy cut and Ben Kingsley, who plays a suspicious second-in-command to the general. Incidentally, Hollywood star Megan Fox will also be seen playing herself in the film.

The Borat star had generated a great deal of buzz about the film and his character when he gate-crashed the 84th Academy awards ceremony in his 'Dictator' avatar. Interestingly, the official site of the film republicofwadiya.com has some interesting bios and links. A must-see.

The film will release on May 11.
