The sixth day of the 65th Cannes Film Festival was touted to be the rainiest Cannes day in years, as the downpour continued to soak the red carpet. A theater roof even collapsed and screenings were cancelled. The festival was high on rain, but low on star power as there were hardly any notable stars on the carpet.
While the new Bond girl, Berenice Marlohe brought in some glamour, actor Gib Pocthier stole the show with his antics on the red carpet. French actor Jeremie Renier, too, didn’t stay behind in bringing some drama to the gala that kickstarted with theatrics from the ever-reliable Sasha Baron Cohen.
