The British actress turned down the leading role in the movie Rodham, a biopic about Hillary Clinton, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The producers have resumed their search, which shouldn't be too hard, given that Scarlett Johansson, Amanda Seyfried, Emma Stone and Reese Witherspoon had all been mentioned as possibilities.
Directed by James Ponsoldt(The Spectacular Now), Rodham will tell the story of Hillary Clinton as a promising Democrat called to take part in the jury for Richard Nixon's impeachment in 1974. The script by Young Il Kim will also depict how the young woman put her own career aside to support her husband, Bill Clinton.
Rodham is expected for 2016 -- the year when Hillary Clinton could be after the job of US President.
