Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson will get a lead role in the upcoming James Marsh movie Hold On To Me, reveals Deadline.com. He will face Carey Mulligan as a femme fatale involved in a shady business.
Based on a true story, Hold On To Me will tell the story of a seductive and ambitious woman who returns to her home town, where she manipulates a young man in order to kidnap him and extort money from the richest man in town. Robert Pattinson will portray her high school boyfriend.
James March, who directed the documentaries Man on Wire and Project Nim, replaces Todd Field (Little Children) behind the camera. The film, formerly known as Nancy and Danny, should start shooting early next year.
