Hollywood actor Catherine Zeta-Jones has signed on for a role in Steven Soderbergh's Side Effects. The 42-year-old will join Jude Law, Channing Tatum and Blake Lively in the movie, written by Scott Z Burns, reported Contactmusic.
Blake plays the role of a depressed woman with an addiction to prescription medication, who begins a relationship with her doctor (Law), while dealing with the impending release of her husband (Tatum) from prison. Jones will be playing a doctor named Eric Siebert.
The production is due to start in April. Jones, who had a troubled 2011 where she went to hospital suffering with bipolar disorder, has been making a strong comeback, shooting substantial roles in Rock Of Ages alongside Tom Cruise and Julianne Hough and Stephen Frears' Lay The Favorite with Bruce Willis.
