Hollywood hunk Chris Evans is taking a quick breather from his action-packed kitty for some fun. The beefed up actor, who is popularly known for his superhero stints as the Human Torch and Captain America respectively, has now plunged into the romcom genre with his latest flick, What’s Your Number?
“I love romantic comedies that really crack you up. A lot of the movies I’ve made lately have been non-stop action. It’s not always fun being the funny element in an otherwise dramatic project. This film was a refreshing change for me,” says the 30-year-old.
Evans stars opposite
Anna Faris in the romcom that poses questions on the number of partners in a relationship and how that affects the chances of finding true love. It is releasing here today and the actor can’t stop going gaga over the genre.
“I think a good comedy has to be true to life just like a good drama. The more you can emulate life, the better it’s going to be… That’s what
I love about great movies — they are always going to take chances and risks,” he says.
And what’s his mantra for life? “My philosophy in life is rooted in having no judgments one way or another about how other people choose to live their lives. Be a good person. Don’t hurt anybody,” says Evans, adding that he wants to settle down eventually.
The actor is now busy shooting for his next film, The Avengers, alongside Robert Downey Jr, Mark Ruffalo, Samuel L Jackson, Scarlett Johansson and Gwyneth Paltrow. HTC
