Christian Bale could join Johnny Depp on the set of upcoming thriller Transcendence, reveals The Los Angeles Times. British director Christopher Nolan is set to produce the directorial debut of Wally Pfister, his longtime cinematographer.
Wally Pfister and Christopher Nolan, who have worked together on seven different movies, are currently eyeing Christian Bale for one of the lead roles. The British actor had already worked with the duo on the Batman trilogy that concluded with this summer's The Dark Knight Rises.
Penned by Jack Paglen, the film's script is still a secret, although The Los Angeles Times says it will revolve around three main protagonists. Alcon Entertainment is to produce the film, which will start shooting this winter in LA.
