Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros have officially announced that the director of the Dark Knight trilogy will be back with a sci-fi film called Interstellar in November 2014.
Christopher Nolan will direct, produce and write the movie thought up by his younger brother Jonathan Nolan. The two Hollywood studios have promised that the movie will depict a heroic interstellar voyage to the furthest reaches of our scientific understanding.
Steven Spielberg had previously shown an interest in this project, which will explore the theory that black holes are really portals through time, space and even dimensions.
Interstellar will be released in North American cinemas on November 7, 2014.
