The 48-year-old actor tweeted a sneak peek of himself as 1980’s hard rocker Stacee Jaxx from the movie, reports accesshollywood.com.

He is seen shirtless in the picture, and has sported long brown locks, multiple tattoos, boots, and bulging biceps.

Cruise’s wife, Katie Holmes, earlier said she can’t wait for moviegoers to get an earful of her husband’s singing talent. “Tom is such an amazing performer. The voice is incredible,” she said. Rock of Ages also features Julianne Hough, Alec Baldwin, Mary J. Blige, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Russell Brand. It is slated to release June 1, 2012.
