The first image from Sofia Coppola's upcoming feature film, The Bling Ring, shows Emma Watson at the head of a group of adolescents who burglarize the homes of Hollywood stars.
The first images reveal the band of young thieves who specialize in stealing from the homes of Hollywood's A-listers. In addition to Emma Watson, the gang is played by Taissa Farmiga, Israel Broussard, Katie Chang and Claire Julien, while Kirsten Dunst and Gavin Rossdale also have roles in the film.
The plot of The Bling Ring is based on a series of real-life events that took place between 2008 and 2009 in the United States. The Burglar Bunch stole property from Hollywood homes with a total worth of more than three million dollars.
Currently filming in Los Angeles, Coppola's fifth feature film returns to the world of bored and disenchanted upper middle class adolescents, a theme of her film The Virgin Suicides.
Real-life vctims of the Burglar Bunch include Lindsay Lohan, Orlando Bloom, Megan Fox and Paris Hilton, who is believed to be making a cameo appearance in the film.
