Troubled star Lindsay Lohan has ditched her blonde hair in preparation for the filming of Elizabeth Taylor's biopic Liz & Dick.
Lohan, 25, who plays dame Taylor in the film, sported darker locks and arranged it in an updo style when she was spotted during the pre-production of the biopic, reported Ace Showbiz.
Grant Bowler will be playing the legendary actor Richard Burton (Dick )in Taylor's life. The chemistry between the couple is palpable, almost matching that of Taylor and Burton.
The production of the biopic itself will kick off on June 4 in Los Angeles.
"All her clothes are made. All her jewelry is made. Come Monday morning, Liz and Dick will live again. Lindsay is excited and so into it. She went from being unfocused to being totally focused now that the movie is up and going," director Lloyd Kramer said.
Liz & Dick chronicles the enduring love of movie icons Taylor and Richard Burton, whose fiery romance was the most notorious, publicized and celebrated love affair of its day.
Taylor and Burton had a famously tumultuous relationship after meeting during the filming of Cleopatra. The actor was Taylor's fifth and sixth husband. They divorced in June of 1974 after ten years of marriage, only to remarry a year later. They divorced again in 1976.
