Ranveer Singh has congratulated his ‘BFF’ Parineeti Chopra for being involved in celebrated director Steven Spielberg’s upcoming fantasy adventure, The BFG. Parineeti will be dubbing for the Hindi version of the film.
She is providing the voice for Sophie, the young protagonist of the film who befriends the titular Big Friendly Giant. The character is played by 12-year-old Ruby Barnhill while The BFG is played by Oscar-winning actor Mark Rylance in a motion capture performance.
Raveer Singh shared an image of himself with Parineeti, captioning it: “Meet Steven Spielberg’s new heroine ! BFF is in BFG !”
Amitabh Bachchan will join Parineeti in the Hindi dubbed version of the film as the title character. “Being the voice of the Big Friendly Giant of the Steven Spielberg film in Hindi.. a fascinating tale...,” he tweeted.

Parineeti follows in the footsteps of her cousin Priyanka Chopra, who voiced the lead character in Planes: Fire & Rescue and more recently, Kaa in The Jungle Book.
