British star Gemma Arterton (Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters) and American actress Anna Kendrick (Twilight) have been cast in Marjane Satrapi's latest feature film, The Voices.
The two actresses will share the limelight with Ryan Reynolds, who is set to portray Jerry Hickfang in this psychological thriller based on a script penned by Michael R. Perry (Paranormal Activity 2).
"The Voices" will follow an employee of a bathtub factory torn between his evil cat's calls to commit criminal mischief and the peaceful words of his benevolent dog. To further complicate the matter, an accountant in the company seems to have developed a romantic interest in him.
The shooting is set to begin soon in Berlin with Iranian-French comic book author Marjane Satrapi as director.
