Director Paul Feig has continues the social media peeks for his upcoming Ghostbuster reboot starring Melissa McCarthy, Krsten Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon.
The film-maker has so far revealed the costumes, which appear to be slightly tweaked from the originals, the proton packs (Ghostbusting equipment) and the iconic vehicle-of-choice for the central characters, the Ecto-1
Aside from the first-looks, actor Neil Casey (whose
account deserves a visit) has signed on to star as a villain in the action-comedy. Unfortunately, details about Casey's role in the movie are still kept under wraps, reported Ace Showbiz.
Casey has recently appeared on Veep, Broad City, Playing House, The League and the SXSW film Fort Tilden, which won the 2014 Grand Jury Award for best narrative feature. Besides being an actor, Casey is a writer whose screenwriting credits include Saturday Night Live, Inside Amy Schumer and The Kroll Show.
The all-female Ghostbusters reboot has also cast actors Andy Garcia, Michael K Williams and actress Cecily Strong.
Andy Garcia has signed up to play the Mayor of New York City. Although the film is currently shooting in Boston, it will be set in New York City. Williams, known for his role Omar on HBO's series The Wire, is set to play a character named Hawkins. There is no detail yet about the role Strong will portray.
