Hollywood celebrities cooked up major presence at US President Barack Obama’s annual White House Correspondents’ Association dinner on Saturday night. While Obama poked fun at the media, his critics and himself, the night was a star-filled event where journalists and celebrities mixed with the Washington elite. The dinner saw the who’s who of Hollywood heavyweights, such as Harvey Weinstein, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, to name a few. A funny speech by late night TV show host and comedian Conan O’Brien made the moment of the night but an even funnier one by the President himself stole the limelight. This was Brien’s second performance as the host of the festivities. The dinner is an annual event to raise money for journalism scholarships.
