James Bond's Skyfall screenwriter hopes for Oscar

Screenwriter John Logan hopes that his work on the latest Bond film Skyfall will help him get his fourth Oscar nomination this year and possibly an award.
Screenwriter John Logan hopes that his work on the latest Bond film Skyfall will help him get his fourth Oscar nomination this year and possibly an award. Logan has previously been nominated for his work in Gladiator, The Aviator and most recently Hugo, reported BBC news.
On whether he hoped to get recognition Logan said, "Yes. I think we made a proper movie, which was our goal."

Of the 23 previous Bond movies over the last 49 years, only two have collected Academy Awards, both in technical categories. Goldfinger won best sound effects in 1964 and a year later Thunderball got best visual effects.
There have been reports that Dame Judi Dench could be nominated for her role as M in the movie.
