Jennifer Lawrence will star in It's What I Do: A Photographer's Life of Love and War, which will be directed by Steven Spielberg, according to reports.

Addario is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalists who went to Afghanistan during the post-9/11 invasion of Afghanistan and carved out a niche giving an identity to the victims of conflict that includes how Afghans suffered during the Taliban regime, the Iraqi War, victims of genocide in Darfur, the rape of women in the Congo.

Natalie Portman, George Clooney and Grant Heslov were earlier considered for the roles.

American Sniper producer Andrew Lazar will also be involved, it said, citing sources.

Lawrence, 24, who won an Oscar in 2013 for Silver Linings Playbook and starred in The Hunger Games movies, is currently shooting David O Russell's Joy, which is set for release at Christmas.
