Jeremy Renner has mistakenly let slip details about Captain America: Civil War. The Mission Impossible Rogue Nation actor has revealed which side Hawkeye will be taking in the battle between Captain America and Iron Man.
Actor Jeremy Renner, fresh off Mission Impossible Rogue Nation has let slip that his character Hawkeye will be on Captain America's side in Captain America: Civil War.
The upcoming movie which features the conflict between the Cap (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) will see Hawkeye siding with the First Avenger, reported Aceshowbiz.
"I don't know, they wrote me in that side. It made sense to me." Realizing his slip, he quickly joked, "Maybe I switched sides!" Renner, 44, said.
The film will pick up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their efforts to safeguard humanity.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the movie also features other major Marvel superheroes such as Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen).
The movie will also feature debuts of Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and the new Spider-Man (Tom Holland).
The film is scheduled for a May, 2016 release.
