star Jessica Chastain is apparently nearing a deal to play legendary actress
in a new biopic, Blonde.
The film is based on Joyce Carol Oates’ Pulitzer-nominated book about Monroe.
To be directed by Andrew Dominik, the movie would be a more elaborate look into Monroe’s life from the point of view of the screen legend, reported Ace Showbiz. Dominik, who directed and wrote Killing Them Softly and The Assassination of Jesse James By the Coward Robert Ford, will be the screenwriter of the project too.
